How much does it cost?

Showcase site from CHF 1'400, site with a back office from 3'200, shop from 3'900, online booking from 3'900, web app from 5'500, mobile app from 6'900. SME software is on quote. The price is fixed in the quote before we start. The Prices page explains what changes the price, and the options.

How much does a mobile app cost?

A web app from CHF 5'500, a mobile app for iPhone and Android from CHF 6'900, back office included. The price depends on the number of screens and the features: customer accounts, payments, notifications, offline mode. Everything is set in the quote, and publishing on the App Store and Google Play is included.

Custom software: for which businesses?

As soon as your team juggles Excel, paper and email: tradespeople, service companies, logistics, shops with stock. The software follows the way you work, links schedule, stock, quotes and QR invoices, and can come with an app for the team in the field. Price on quote, after a free first conversation.

What happens after an app or software goes live?

The plan covers hosting in Switzerland, data backups, security updates and, for apps, updates for new iOS and Android versions. New requests are handled within the included hours, or on quote for a bigger change.

How long does it take?

Two to three weeks for a showcase site, one to two months for a custom site or shop, two to four months for software or an app.

Do I need to edit the site myself?

No. With the showcase site, you send us your changes and we make them. If you want to edit yourself, choose an offer with a back office: your private area to change text, photos, products or bookings. It's included in every offer except the showcase site.

Is a support plan required?

No, but a site without updates becomes a security risk within months.

What if I want to switch providers?

You get the code, the content and every login. Nothing ties you to us.

Which payments can a shop take?

Twint, cards and QR bills, through a Swiss provider that bills its fees to you directly.

Native app or web app?

A native app makes sense for offline use, the camera or notifications. Otherwise a web app often does the job for about half the price.

Can ChatGPT recommend us?

Nobody can guarantee it. We can raise your chances and check every month whether you're cited.

A "from" price is a complete, ready-to-use base version. The final price is set in the quote before work starts.

What changes the price

Four things explain most of the difference:

The number of pages or screens to design.
Custom features: payment, booking, customer accounts, links to your accounting.
Content: text and photos you provide, or that we create.
Languages: each extra language needs a careful translation and a check of every page.

Costs after launch

A site, app or piece of software has to be hosted, backed up and updated. At Edelmesh this is a monthly plan with no commitment:

Essential, CHF 60 a month: hosting in Switzerland, security, backups, monitoring.
Care, CHF 99 a month: plus one hour of changes a month.
Partner, CHF 219 a month: three hours a month and search visibility monitoring.

For a mobile app these updates are essential: without them, the app eventually stops working with new versions of iOS and Android.

How to avoid unpleasant surprises

Ask for a fixed price in writing, not an open-ended hourly estimate.
Check that the code, data and domain name are in your name.
Ask where the site is hosted and what the plan costs after the first year.
Start with the essentials: a well-designed project can grow in stages.
