This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or write to us, why, and what your rights are under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).

When you write to us
The contact forms ask for your name, your email address and a message. If you wish, you can add the name of your company or association, your phone number, the type of project or organisation, the services you are looking for, your budget, your timeframe, and your preferred language and way of being contacted.
This data is used only to reply to your request, prepare a quote and follow up on our exchange. It is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
Your request is sent to us by email, and you receive a confirmation email.
Technical data
To run the website and protect it against abuse, the server records technical information: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type. IP addresses used to limit abusive form submissions are deleted after 24 hours. Technical server logs are kept for no more than 14 days.
Hosting in Switzerland
The website, the requests received and the emails are hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, acting on our behalf. Backups stay in Switzerland.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no advertising cookies, no analytics tools and no social media buttons. There is a single technical cookie, used only for the administration area reserved for Edelmesh. Fonts are served from our own server.
Demos
The demos show fictional businesses. What you enter in them (basket, booking, text) stays in your browser and is not sent to us. The "Laiterie" demo displays photos hosted by the Unsplash service in the United States: when you open it, your browser connects to that service, which receives your IP address.
Retention
Requests that do not lead to an assignment are deleted automatically 24 months after they are received. Data related to an assignment is kept as long as the project and legal obligations require. Backups are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to contact@edelmesh.ch. We reply within 30 days. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
This policy may be updated, for example when the website changes. The version published on this page applies.
